When Australian hardcore band SPEED cancelled their show at Nambour, local music promoter Anti Vision did not hesitate to fill the gap.

SPEED were forced to cancel all remaining shows from their national regional tour, including Black Box Theatre on Monday.

The ARIA-award-winning Sydney band – known for their metal-infused-flute-solos – made a passionate plea about the incident on social media.

The group is looking for “Aje” (Chang-Wook Yeo) – believed to be missing in Blackheat, Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.

“Due to an emergency, SPEED can no longer play our show tonight at the Black Box Theatre in Nambour,” their social media statement reads.

“The show will continue with Shackles headlining. Anyone seeking a refund can do so via Oztix. Thank you for your understanding.”

Show goes on for Anti Vision at Black Box in Nambour

Local promoter Anti Vision pulled strings to add two more bands to the list, producing yet another raw and powerful hardcore show for the Coast.

Among those playing were Byron/Brisbane grinders @shacklesnoise, new-school Brisbane beatdown @streetsuffer_hc, and the Coast’s own teenage brigade @twoseventy_hc.

Acts added were @brawlist.aus and @human.condition_schc
