Kingscliff: Known so loyally by their faithful patrons as “The Kingy”, the Kingscliff Beach Hotel celebrates 90 years tomorrow with music from Byron Bay trance-popsters Pink Zinc.
And in the spirit of this milestone The Kingy is throwing an epic party for all their treasured punters who have left memories behind that only the pub’s walls know about.
While they’re no match for other icons born in 1932, such as Johnny Cash or Debbie Reynolds, the Kingscliff Beach Hotel’s devoted congregation sure can match the passion for singing and dancing held also by their fellow US musical greats.
And with music from Pink Zinc starting from 1.30pm we know this is going to be a big one (hello, day drinkers!).
Picture: Pink Zinc will play at the Kingscliff Beach Hotel’s 90th birthday celebrations tomorrow.
And as a gift to their patrons, The Kingy is treating punters to 49 per cent off everything* (yes that’s a disclaimer that you will find out about on the day. A birthday surprise!) from 10am to 2pm.
Since the Kingy swung its doors open in 1932, the pub has been a local staple, with coastal views, great pub-grub and sensational sips.
Be sure to help celebrate the pub being the city’s beating ‘community heart’ for almost a century, by raising a big frothy, tasty wine or crafty cocktail, with discounts galore and delicious meals from the hotel’s smoker.
The Kingy, AKA Kingscliff Beach Hotel, celebrates 90 years tomorrow, Saturday, October 7, from 1.30pm, with music from Pink Zinc.
