Solbar, Maroochydore

Get ready to fck off 2024 with some of your silliest ‘stumbled upons’ and most theatrical thrift-ware at Solbar this NYE. Local legends Shag Rock, Buttermello and Nuffin Butta are bringing a stellar line-up the Ocean Street strip. But don’t forget to bling up your accessories! That means: huge hats, long hair, lotsa flair, fat chains and blown-out sunnies. Doors at 7pm, and prizes for the sexiest and most sinister accessories.

Kings Beach Amphitheatre, Caloundra

Caloundra’s New Year’s Eve Celebrations at the Kings Beach Amphitheatre is proudly hosted by the Sunshine Coast Official Food Truck Association (SCOFTA) and sponsored by the Sunshine Coast Council. There will be live music, entertainment, food trucks, and fireworks, all from 4pm.

Woodford Folk Festival, Woodford

Cost: Day tickets $80-$140

Woodford Folk Festival is set to come alive with its famous six-day festival from December to January 1. On New Year’s Eve you can catch performances from Australian rock royalty Yothu Yindi and a slew of epic acts including Meg Washington, Little Quirks and Ziggy Ramo.

Pier 33, Mooloolaba

Enjoy a tasty selection of drinks and canapĂ©s as you watch the sun set over the marina at Mooloolaba’s Pier 33 (main picture). It’s the best spot in the house for the 8.30pm Mooloolaba NYE fireworks, and there will be drinks and canapĂ©s packages, plus awesome live music. Don’t miss Pier 33 for great vibes and prime views of the fireworks!

Kings Beach Tavern, Caloundra

And No Scrubs are teaming up to bring you a massive New Year’s Eve party at Kings Beach Tavern with TWO ROOMS, and it’s Country vs 90s! That means Cowboy Kicks vs Throwback Hits too. Mooloolaba Beach, Mooloolaba

Make your way to Mooloolaba Esplanade for a free community event this New Year’s Eve. All the action kicks off at 5pm, with plenty of food trucks, roving entertainment, and family fun setting the tone for a great night. Come 8:30pm, gather the crew and soak up the sights of the fireworks display. Further south and north, you’ll be in for a treat at Caloundra and Coolum, where fireworks will also light up the skies at 8:30pm. Please note: while you can catch fireworks at 8:30pm in Caloundra, Coolum and Mooloolaba, the Sunshine Coast Council will not be hosting midnight fireworks in 2024.

The Presynct, Nambour

Nambour Night Fever: New Year’s Eve Disco Party at The Presynct brings a 70s-inspired celebration, featuring the electrifying JAZZPARTY direct from Melbourne. You can also expect party-starting sets from DJ Dispatch and DJ Sista C. Dress to impress and join the fun with prizes for Best Dressed, an unforgettable Dance-Off, and a Small Group Dance Battle. Noosa Marina will hold a spectacular waterfront celebration to bid farewell to 2024 and welcome the new year.
