Looking for Things To Do On The Sunshine Coast? Yelo Mag serves up the best in live music and entertainment each week. Head to yelo.live/gigs for our complete guide.
The Sunshine Coast offers a vibrant live music and entertainment scene, boasting one of the highest populations of musicians per capita in Australia.
From Caloundra to Noosa, each township boasts a huge variety of musical happenings, from the chilled-out Troubadour Wagons in the Maroochy Botanical Gardens, to the all-out, carpark punk-rock shows at Blackflag Brewing in Coolum.
Nambour’s underground scene is quickly becoming a heavy metal epicentre for the region, while The Station continues to bring in some of the biggest touring acts.
So, get amongst it sunshiny people. And make sure you give a nod and a wink to the musicians entertaining you wherever you end up! (Girls night at The Presynct, ladies?)
What: Get ready for the turbulence that is Full Flower Moon Band.
After some time in the Australian rock ‘n roll underground, Full Flower Moon Band broke onto the national stage in 2022 with their sophomore record Diesel Forever. Having wrapped a national tour with The Black Crowes, the band quickly solidified themselves as one of Australia’s biggest rock acts, playing festival slots at Splendour In The Grass, Yours & Owls and more.
Full Flower Moon Band is playing twice at this year’s festival on the opening Sunday – an all-ages gig at 3pm and an 18+ show at 7pm.
When: Sunday, May 4 (two shows!)
