Sunshine Coast alt-rock band Karma Police is already 50 per cent sold for its debut EP launch at Black Box Theatre on August 15.

The strong ticket sales come after a packed Nambour Black Market on Saturday, and a Live Local Shop Local day the previous week, when people were dancing to buskers in Queen Street.
The hometown show will arrive two weeks after the July 31 release of Pale and Blue, with ChAMBER LANe and Table Manners joining the three-band local lineup.
Karma Police’s latest single, “Frog In My Throat”, was recorded at Airlock Studios in April and will appear on the debut EP.
Airplay on triple j, 4ZZZ and ABC Sunshine Coast has added to the band’s momentum.
Three local bands at Black Box Theatre
Black Box Theatre sits inside Nambour’s Old Ambo arts precinct on Howard Street.
The mid-sized venue hosts original live music most weekends, ranging from touring international bands to local acts and all-ages, alcohol-free shows.
Early-bird tickets are currently available for $10 plus booking fee until July 12.
Karma Police launch Pale and Blue at Black Box Theatre, Nambour, on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Tickets are available through Humanitix.
