Brad Cox Saturday gig cancelled at The Station

March 5, 20252 min read

Sunshine Coast live music venue The Station has confirmed it will cancel Saturday’s Brad Cox show.

Cyclone Alfred continues to edge closer to the Coast mainland and is expected to cross the shore on Thursday night.

It comes as the Green Day, Daily J, New Bloom Fest, and Drain shows are also cancelled. While Solbar will be closed tomorrow.

The Station was also forced to cancel last Sunday’s Big Vibes event, featuring Raw Ordio and Christian Patey.

The venue made the Brad Cox announcement on social media on Wednesday:

“Due to the approaching cyclone and for the safety of all attendees, we regret to inform you that the Brad Cox show scheduled for Saturday 8 March at The Station SC has been cancelled.

“You don’t need to do anything; your ticket(s) will be automatically refunded back to you and we’ll let you know when this has been done. It can take up to 3-5 business days for the funds to return to your account. If your card details have changed, please wait for Moshtix to contact you directly regarding this.

“We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you at a future show soon.”

Those who bought tickets to Big Vibes can also receive a full refund.

If you have tickets to any shows this weekend be sure to check with the promoters whether it will go ahead.
