Some gigs don’t look like much on paper…
and then end up being the ones people talk about after.
This weekend feels a bit like that.
This weekend (March 20–22), there’s a bunch of good stuff happening across the Sunshine Coast.
Here’s 5 things worth getting out of the house for this weekend.
1. Elephant Sessions — Kings Beach Tavern (Saturday, March 21)
Big live energy on this one. If you’ve seen them before, you already know — if not, this is a good place to start.
This one will fill out.

2. Irie Vibez 5 — The Presynct (Friday, March 20)
Good crowd, good vibe, easy night.
If you feel like being around people and not overthinking it, this is the one.

3. Long Way Home — Montvale (Friday, March 20)
Bit more low-key, but that’s kind of the appeal.
Settle in, have a drink, let it roll.
Tickets: https://www.montvale.com.au/
4. Mungo’s Hi Fi — Banana Bender Pub (Saturday, March 21)
Bit of a different lane. Heavier, bass-driven, and more of a late-night energy.
This one could get loose.
Tickets: https://www.bananabenderpub.com.au/whats-on/
5. The Jazz Sessions March — The Presynct (Thursday, March 19)
Wildcard of the weekend.
Could be chill, could get interesting — depends who shows up.
